Inkspirational Challenge #365 - Visual Prompt - Sketch

Welcome to Inkspirational — we’re so glad you’re here!

For the next two weeks (April 11–24), we invite you to get creative with our Visual Prompt: SKETCH. It’s been five years since our last sketch challenge, so we’re excited to bring one back

This design is simple and flexible. Feel free to adapt it to suit your style — your card base doesn’t need to be square and the smaller shapes in the lower right can be any shape you like. As long as your project captures the essence of the sketch, you’re all set!

Inspiration from the Design Team:

We look forward to a gallery filled with your interpretations of the sketch!

Top Picks Challenge #363 and Reminder Post - Challenge #364 - Word Prompt - CAS (Optional Twist: E is for...)

Welcome to our two part post.

**First, a reminder that you have until Friday, April 10 at 11:59 pm (GMT) to play in Challenge #364 -  Word Prompt - CAS, with the Optional Twist of *E is for...* - found HERE. Currently, we have 20 beauties in the gallery. If you've joined us already, thank you (and please feel free to join again); if you haven't, we'd love for you to do so.

Second, we had 20 wonderful entries for our March Mood Board. We very much enjoyed seeing your various interpretations.

As always, narrowing down our Top Picks was a challenge. Your creativity, craftsmanship and thoughtful interpretations make the process both inspiring and delightfully difficult.

Our Top Picks:

Cassandra's card is a work of art featuring the 6 prompts suggested on the main challenge blog. Her combination of embossing, water colouring, horseshoes + clovers makes this a most striking "lucky" card.

Kathy has created a delightful, fun die-cut filled card for her dog, who's birthday is on St. Patrick's Day.  She clearly drew plenty of inspiration from the mood board.

Arnoldo's Easter eggs - designed for his grandsons - draw from several elements of the mood board: green, repeating shapes, botanicals and artistic backgrounds.  We're sure his grandsons will be smiling all over their faces when they receive these personalized eggs. Treasures, for sure!

Congratulations to our Top Picks; please take your badge.

Inkspirational Challenge #364 - CAS - Optional Twist - "E is for..."

Welcome to Inkspirational; we’re delighted you’re joining us!

For the next two weeks (March 28 – April 10), we invite you to play along with our CLEAN & SIMPLE (CAS) challenge, featuring the optional twist: E is for Think Easter, eggs, envelopes, engagement—anything that begins with the letter E.

Why this twist? Easy! We’d love to see your clean and simple creations shine in more than one place. ✨ If you’re playing along with the optional theme here, consider also linking your card at the AAA Card Challenge. Beginning Sunday, their theme is E is for ; a perfect match, right!  A reminder: theirs is a must, ours is optional.

Sharing your card in two galleries is a wonderful way to connect with a wider community—and you might just discover a new favorite challenge - next to ours, of course -  along the way!

Optional Twist: E is for...Easter, evening, engagement, envelope, eggs...

Inspiration from the Design Team:

To help you out, here's what we'll be looking for on your Clean and Simple designs:
✅ One main focal point
✅ Lots of OPEN space (doesn't 'have' to be white)
✅ Minimal Layers
✅ Minimal Embellishments

Looking forward to seeing your CAS cards in the gallery, with or without the twist! Remember: if you do the twist, share over at AAA Cards, too.

We'll be back on Saturday, April 4th with a Reminder Post and Top Picks for Challenge #363.
