Top Picks - Challenge #291 - and Reminder Post - Challenge #292 - Designer's Choice (Embossed Background)

Second, our first SEASONAL challenge appeared to be quite popular, with the gallery closing at 67 awesome entries! Thank you for embracing this theme with such enthusiasm. It was not easy to select three Top Picks so, for this go-round, we've chosen 4!

Carol

Carol's pretty rainbow coloured water ballerinas are certainly enjoying dancing in the water-stenciled pool. A summer delight, indeed.

Bonnie

Bonnie's vintage wreath, painted with distress inks, is gorgeous - and certainly pops against the pretty embossed background. Lovely Christmas card!

Esther

Esther's Vitamin Sea beach scene is pretty, inviting and incredibly creative. The bike, the wood plank fence, the beach/ocean...a work of Summer time art!

Fran

Fran's Halloween card is frightfully awesome, with its layered papers, cobwebs and raised panel that continues the design off the edge. A wickedly wonderful background for her star of the stage: the hound die cut.

Inkspirational Challenge #292 - Designer's Choice

Inkspirational Challenge #291 - SEASONAL

Hello,

Welcome back to Inkspirational, where we're introducing a new challenge to our line-up: SEASONAL.

We invite you to consider the four seasons - Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter - and create cards/projects based on occasions that are quite 'specific' to those seasons.

For instance: Spring: Mother's Day, Easter, Flowers etc.; Summer: summer vacations, school's out, weddings, beaches; Fall: harvest, Thanksgiving, Halloween; Winter: Christmas, Hanukkah, winter activities. And how about your country's national day, too (Canada Day, Fourth of July, etc.).

These are just a few ideas to get you started; the team also has some fabulous inspiration for you.
