Our Top Picks:

Steph has created a beautiful snowy design with her pretty layered snowflakes, tag and blue bloom die cuts.

Papierelle's snowboarding moose looks pretty confident, cool and stylish as he tackles the snowy slopes. Such a fun card!

Tracy's little snowmen are darling, especially placed on the postage stamps backgrounds.

Valerie's beautifully coloured, talented skating giraffe is certainly enjoying the frozen snow of the ice rink. An all-around delight.

Inkspirational Challenge #334 - COLLABORATION with Color Hues Challenge #103 - RED AND PINK

WELCOME TO OUR SPECIAL EVENT!

Inkspirational Challenge #334 - COLLABORATION with Color Hues Challenge #103

Carol here, a designer/behind-the-scenes organizer of Inkspirational Challenges. and a design team member at The Color Hues Challenge.

The Inkspirational gals and I are delighted to participate in this first-time collaboration with Color Hues Challenge #103.  Creating with RED AND PINK – a combination open to such a wide range of hues, as well as occasions/events – makes us even more happy!

This collaboration serves two key goals: to increase exposure of both challenges to players who may/may not know about them and to offer YOU a chance to share your projects in two galleries. If you link with us here, please be sure to hop over to Colour Hues to link there. We’re hoping for an outstanding number of entries over the course of the two week run of both challenges.

A wee bit about The Color Hues Challenge, in general:

Twice a month (1st - 14th; 16th - 29th), we post a challenge that suggests the Hues of Color we wish you to focus on.  You may use any gradient tone of the two colors and neutrals are welcome. Our neutrals are: white, black, grey, kraft, brown, cream, gold, and silver. Themes and your choices of images are open. Just a friendly note: please ensure that you select images that fit the colour combination, especially if you enjoy florals. Green is not a neutral.

To our wonderful Inkspirational players: we look forward to introducing you to Color Hues through this collaboration and hope you'll add it to your crafting repertoires.

Second, Challenge #332 closed with 18 delightful Pretty Quilts, featuring a variety of quilting styles. As always, selecting cards to highlight is difficult as you all deserve recognition but...choose we must.

Our Top Picks:

Johanna turned an 'uncooperative' die into a wonderful coverplate for her ocean-themed quilt, complete with an "applique" whale and splash. Warm wishes: perfect sentiment for this pretty quilt.

Fran's ideas "to piece together several papers, stamp on some hand-stitching, and emboss the square to make it look quilted" is a resounding success! Gorgeous quilt, indeed.

Lisa has transformed her bits and pieces of patterned papers into a lovely heart shaped quilt, complete with felt roses and leaves. Guaranteed her grand-daughter will love this, as do we.

Stephanie has created a lovely 'sampler's quilt' with her stamps and dies. The sentiment that mentions quilts is the perfect special touch.

Congratulations to our Top Picks; please take your badge.
