Challenge #101- Photo Inkspiration

Firstly, thank you for the kind comments we received on our 100th challenge and for all the fabulous entries. We will be announcing the winner of our prize draw soon.

Our new challenge is to use the photo above as inspiration. You can use any element of the photo, but if it's not obvious, please do say how it inspired you.

Please welcome our talented Guest Designer:

Kristina

Hello! My name is Kristina from Kristinasartcorner.https://kristinasartcorner.wordpress.com/I am from Bosnia and Herzegovina, but I live in Sweden with my wonderful husband Toni.
My motto is : "Be creative all the time".
I started with scrapbooking but now I am totally in the cardmaking world.
Sometimes I make the trip to mix media, but always combine this trip with beautiful stamps, embossing powders and texture paste.
Otherwise I love to work with clear stamps and rubber stamps. I love to create scenes on my card and make backgrounds with distress inks.
But my greatest obsession are letraset promarkers.
Today I want to present my mix media trip "Love". I hope you like it. And happy crafting, people!

Here are some ideas from our Design Team:

We will be choosing  a top pick/s from this challenge and inviting one entrant to join us as a Guest Designer.

We're sorry that we may not be able to comment on cards that are uploaded to galleries where we have to register to comment (eg Splitcoast Stampers), or where word verification is enabled. When we can view your card, however, we will still consider it for our top picks.

Challenge #99- Thank You with Something New

Happy New Year everyone! For our first challenge of 2016, Kim  is challenging us to make a thank you card using something new.

First, please welcome our wonderful Guest Designer:

Maaike

Hi.
I’m Maaike (my-kuh) and I am 46yrs old.
Since five years , when I was made redundant, I’ve picked up crafting more and more, I’ve always crafted, remember cards wit teabags? And as a photographer photos featured heavily on my cards until I got into stamping and coloring.
Somewhere in the 80’s I went to art school and I still have some of those supplies, believe it or not.
Beginning 2015 I discovered the World of blog challenges, and I love joining each and every one of them! There’s millions I suppose, but I like the ones I take part in and find it plenty.
I’ve made numerous new (cyber) friends, and although we’ve never met I enjoy visiting their blogs and when they call at mine.
I also have an allotment garden I spend a lot of time, with my cats if they want to come.
I’m a  volunteer for a creative group at the local community centre and I cook for 8 single/older
people every week so they come together at my house for a spot of eating and socialising.
I’m single, over 40 and have two cats…make of it what you will ;-)

Here's what the DT have made:
