Challenge #151 Designer's Choice- Stamping Only

Welcome back to Inkspirational. Our new challenge, chosen by Sandie ,  is to use stamping only. The guidelines she has given us are:

no dies, no dsp, just stamp and ink-layers allowed

Please welcome our Guest Designer

Laurie

Hi everyone! Laurie here from Stamping Up North. I'm so excited to be guest designing here at Inkspirational! I started paper crafting about 10 years ago when my hubby and I became empty nesters and I was looking for a new hobby. One stamp led to another, and you know the familiar story....I was hooked! I love to spend the long cold Minnesota winters making cards in my craft room. I love using dies, and I would say my style is clean and layered. I look forward to seeing all your amazing cards in the gallery!

Challenge #150 Word Prompt- Gift

Welcome back to Inkspirational (staying with you all through the holiday period, btw!). This week we want to see your creations prompted by the word 'gift'.

Please welcome our Guest Designer :

Valentyna

My name is Valentyna.  I am a happy mom of two smart kids, who keep me active and busy all the time. When I am not a mom, I am a piano teacher. I like teaching and enjoy it for 20 years. As we moved to Canada I fell in love with paper crafting. Stamps, inks, die cuts, embellishments are wonderful to use, but the paper is the more exciting thing and it is my favorite. I share my creation at Flourishtina.com. Please, stop by sometime. I will be happy to see you

Now for our Design Team:

The tag Nonni made matches to a Christmas gift she wrapped for her sister. :)

Hi, I’m Heidi Weaver and I live in Blackfalds, Alberta, Canada, a transplant from British Columbia where I grew up.  As well as stamping, I have been enjoying painting, photography and crafts for most of my life.  I am deeply involved with my family, helping animal shelters and helping with charities.  I keep busy catering to my two fur-babies, Mei Li and Khali Kho, as well as enjoying a great many outdoor activities, especially with my two awesome grandsons.  I’ve been stamping seriously since 2011 and am the owner of the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge as well as running my own Blog, Stampin’ Along With Heidi.   I’m thrilled to have been asked to be a Guest Designer for the Inkspirational Challenge.

Top Picks Sparkler Photo

Current challenge HERE.

Thank you to all those who played along in our sparkler / fall photo challenge!  We love seeing all the fall inspired entries!

These are our top picks:

We love how she imitated the hanging leaves from the photo into her card! This is such a creative card with the added dimension, beautiful detail, and splashed background!

We love the artsy look of her leaves and the dramatic, graphic background! Her cascade of vibrant, realistic alcohol-inked leaves make for a striking fall themed card.

Lula
Her mixed media tag is rich with color, texture, and details that mirror several elements of the inspiration photo.  It is amazing how she transformed this 'small' canvas to an eye-catching work of art!
