Challenge #81 - Word Prompt - Space

Welcome back. This time we have a word prompt for you - Space - and you can make your project using your own interpretation of the theme.

Please welcome our fabulous Guest Designer :

Hi, I am Sue T.- yes that is what everyone calls me. I have been stamping since 1996. It truly became an obsession when a stamp store opened 5 minutes from my house. I love making cards. There isn’t a holiday that I don’t send them out. I have dabbled in just about every style over the years, but have found my niche with CAS cards. In the real world, I am a FT endoscopy nurse, working on my Master’s. I have a wonderful husband who is my best cheerleader and critic. My muse in my studio is my sweet kitty, Pinkie.

Here is some inspiration from the design team:

We will be choosing  a top pick/s from this challenge and inviting one entrant to join us as a Guest Designer.

We're sorry that we may not be able to comment on cards that are uploaded to galleries where we have to register to comment (eg Splitcoast Stampers), or where word verification is enabled. When we can view your card, however, we will still consider it for our top picks.

We had so much fun viewing your work from the Neon challenge! It appeared to inspire many of you to use bright colors in a a variety of unique ways.  Here are our top picks.

Cornelia
We loved Cornelia’s dramatic use of the neon against the black. Her great design just makes for a fun card!

Toni

Toni’s card is bright with a perfect use of neon. We really just found this card to be flat out fun!

Ashwini
Ashwini’s fab use of acrylic paints gives dimension and texture. Her design and use of detail, such as the twine, looks stunning!

Challenge #80 - Photo Inkspiration

Hello everyone. Welcome back to Inkspirational where we have a photo that we hope will inspire you. (above). Feel free to take any inspiration from the photo - colours, shapes, eggs...but if it's not obvious, please do say how you were inspired.

Please welcome our talented Guest Designer:

I live in a small town in Poland with my husband and my two coddled cats. On a daily basis I work as a nurse (unfortunately, this profession in Poland is very ill rewarded). On weekends I catch up on my week-long backlog of cardmaking. I love those moments when I see in my head a new project, then everything is really fast. The most time consuming thing is to discover what I create. Sometimes it's a real passion, when time is short. I've been cardmaking for about two and a half years.

When Marina from Inkspirational invited me to be to be Guest Designer, I thought it was a mistake. It is true that my card has been awarded by the Inkspirational  DT in the challenge, but I did not think I could ever be a guest designer this blog. I am very grateful for this opportunity. I hope that I can inspire you to create a great card. Good luck to all the participants of the challenge.

Thank you to everyone who played in our She Art challenge! It was very challenging for some of us and we were impressed with the effort that so many of you gave so that you could play along with us! Here are the top picks:

Kirsten

We loved Kirsten’s collaged card! Such an original and complex design with beautiful acetate technique.

Jenny

We are so impressed by Jenny’s use of a personal photo and her unique technique! Her hand journaling and sentiments make this one stand out card!

Stephanie

Visually Stephanie’s card is captivating with the images, colors, and mix of stamps, but it is the empowering words that really makes it stand out as She Art!

Congratulations!
